Autumn has now given way to winter, as one expects for November in this part of the world. No lasting snow yet, but we’ve had flurries off and on over the past three weeks or so, and the temperature has taken a definite nose dive over the past couple of days. It’s -1C. as I write, with an expected low of -12C. tonight. Early in the week we had a little glitch with record-breaking warmth for a couple of days, as in highs of 15 and 17 degrees on Monday and Tuesday. But that quickly changed and now we’re bang on where we should be at this time of year. Often we have a lot of snow on the ground by now, though, to stay on the ground until spring, so it still feels like we’re being treated rather kindly indeed. ๐Ÿ™‚

Now I must away and find myself something for lunch before I keel over from starvation. Okay, slight exaggeration there, but only slight. ๐Ÿ™‚
